The third Thursday of each month is Pi night. Normally we get together at 7pm, discuss the latest Pi news and answer any specific questions that members have about using Raspberry Pi or Arduino. For August we have a specific project, implementing a Pi-hole on an old Pi donated by Nigel.
Pi-hole is a network wide Ad blocker. It implements a server which blocks adverts for all the devices on the local network. August’s Pi Night (at 7pm on 15th) will go through the installtion of the Pi-hole software on a Raspberry Pi and install it in the MakerSpace. The steps are described in the attached Pi-Hole Instructions. This session is open to all current members.
We will also cover any extra questions members have, and no doubt discuss other topics as well.
