Basingstoke MakerSpace has developed a brand new solder kit, called Solder6. Solder6 randomly selects digits. It was created for members to practice their soldering. A pair of special events will explain the design process (on the 27th Oct) and let members build the kit (on the 3rd Nov)
The talk (8pm 27 Oct)
Steve H will explain how the Solder6 kit was designed. Which tools were used, where the parts were purchased and how the build instructions were created.
The build (7:30pm 3 Nov)
The following week you can build the kit yourself. This event is open to both members and non-members. Non-members have to contribute £5 towards the kit. Come along and practice your soldering by building a real circuit under expert supervision.
Please bring along a soldering iron and clippers if you have them.
