Our fourth annual solder session started at 7:30 0n 13 May. The kit this time was an FM Radio. We had so many participants turn up that we had to expand to use both the tables. Most of the makers were new to soldering and we had four non-members that contributed £5 each towards their kit. Everyone was keen to ensure they got a kit so many turned up quite early to ensure they got one. We started half an hour early once the space had filled up.
After a short introduction from Alex (see below) they started to work on their FM Radios. Alex, Steve H, Kevin R and Chris P provided help and advice. Most people kept working on the kit beyond 9pm. Some did manage to finish their build in that time:

Most, however, left some work to do. This expected since it was our biggest solder kit ever, so a second session was added next week for those that still have some work to do. That will be on the 20th.
