Handcrafted wooden plaques now take pride of place in the offices of Basingstoke’s most responsible businesses. Each plaque was designed and engraved in the MakerSpace. The blanks were cut at Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT).
The plaques were presented at an awards ceremony on November 4 as part of the line-up for Basingstoke Business Week, celebrating the first cohort of organisations verified through the Basingstoke Business for Good (BBfG) scheme.
Kaia Vincent, founder of BBfG, said: “We wanted a trophy that not only celebrates achievement but connects our community through shared values. These handcrafted plaques represent collaboration in its truest sense — designed locally, made locally, and awarded locally to those helping make Basingstoke a fairer, more connected place to live and work.”
