Maritime House (65 New Road) is currently up for sale.  The MakerSpace has raised the funds required to purchase the building.

We have raised the £140,000 to purchase the building.  Thanks to all the participants.

The bonds will pay 4.5% interest and be repaid over 8 years.  Bonds would be secured against the property. The opportunity is open to any investors, not just members.

If you would be willing to help the MakerSpace secure our future please email bonds@basingstokemakerspace.org.uk and say how many £1,000 bonds you would like to bid for.  The Bids Open date was 6 Dec 2025 with a Bids Closed date of 6 Jan 2026.  You should allow at least two weeks for the identity checks that are legally required, so bids should ideally be sent before 23 Dec 2025.
